Top 3 affiliate networks one has to join
Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online and it has become a household name for many successful bloggers. I have seen bloggers openly reveal their affiliate income along with other earnings. I think this is a good sign for bloggers and newbies who want to boost up their earnings with affiliate marketing. But one may get confused to choose the right program among thousands of affiliate networks. It depends on the niche or topic that bloggers focus on their blogs. I have researched well and come up with these top 3 affiliate networks.
1. ShareASale
ShareASale has been serving several affiliates around the world since 2000. ShareASale is a huge network with more than 2500 merchants and the number is still growing. Bloggers might be familiar withย StudioPress Themes for WordPress and WP Engine affiliate programs. Bloggers need to paste code on their blogs to show the banners. Bloggers get paid when any potential user buys via the link. ShareAsale generally pays its affiliates on CPA (Cost Per Action), CPS (Cost Per Sale) or CPL (Cost Per Lead) basis.
The threshold payment is $50 and could be paid via Check or direct deposit on Net 30 basis. Affiliates can also take advantage of ShareASale referral program to make extra income.

2. Linkshare
Linkshare is a great platform to make money online. The merchants include Microsoft, Netflix, Walmart and other large reputed brands. Being an affiliate, you have to place banners or text links on your website to get started. But you need to check every merchant’s term before joining. When any potential user buys something from Microsoft Store or CyberChimps Inc, affiliates get paid. The minimum payout is $1 and you could get paid via check on net 30 basis. The support team is good and helpful.

3. Amazon Affiliate Network
Amazon affiliate network is one of the oldest and most successful networks in the world. There would be no single blogger or publisher who has not heard of this program. I bet the majority of people prefer Amazon among all the top 3 affiliate networks. Despite its low commissions, people still go for it. I prefer promoting books to other products on my site. Amazon pays its affiliates when they reach the threshold payout $100 on Net 60 (60 days) basis. The payment mode is direct deposit if you are in US and for others it is check.
Affiliates can take advantage of promoting its wide range of products on their blogs or sites. Being an affiliate, you can personalize the links to your requirements. Some successful affiliates have gone further by starting a niche site only to promote Amazon products. This shows how successful this network is.
This is all about the top 3 affiliate networks. I hope you enjoyed this article and do share your own affiliate marketing experiences in the comments section.
All 3 affiliate programs are great. But in my humble opinion, ShareASale gets two thumbs up!
Hi Treathyl
Thank you for stopping by my post. Yes ShareASale deserves it. Keep visiting. ๐
Thanks Suresh! I’ll do my best to visit. I have quite a bit on my plate with my several home business projects.
Hi Treathyl,
I wish you great success.
I knew about amazon, but I will try shareasale.
Thanks for sharing this post.
Hi Orjiakor,
Thanks for coming back. Yes try ShareAsale and I would be happy if you share your experience with it here. ๐
Have you ever tried ClickBank? Haven’t tried it myself but I hear that commissions reach as high as 100%. Do you have any ideas regarding this? Great article by the way. Keep it up!
Hi Yesh,
Thanks for stopping by my article. Yes Clickbank is awesome and the commission structure purely depends on the vendors. The commission ranges from 1% to 75%. I’ll be going to write an article on Clickbank soon. Stay connected. Have a great weekend. ๐
Hi Vurity,
I was actually looking for some new affiliate networks to join and these seem to fit what I was looking for. I remember trying to sign up for ShareASale a while back.
For some reason I never heard back from them. Do you know how long it takes to hear from them when you submit an application? Thanks for sharing these networks…off to sign up for one of them.
Have a great week.
Hi Susan,

Hi Vurity,
Affiliate marketing is just an awesome way to make money from your blog if you are writing review or guide articles, I have used Amazon Affiliate program before and it was quite good but didn’t try the first two, well have to take another look at them. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Qasim,
Nice to see you again on my blog. It is good to hear that you tried Amazon program. I wish you great success with other two programs.
Shared for you on FB. Well written and canโt agree more. These are the basics of making money and becoming a great affiliate marketer.

Thank you Sneha for the share. Keep visiting. ๐
I am not trying these affiliate programs but used flipkart affiliate.
If you want to earn from affiliate network in India then you must come with Flipkart or Amazon. Thank you for suggesting other network, now I want try those.
Hi Nikhil,
Thanks for stopping by my post. Yes Flipkart affiliate program is good for Indians. But the problem is that their commission payout is somewhat low when compared to other networks. Even I tried as a Flipkart affiliate but was unsuccessful. I wish you great success with affiliate marketing. ๐
Flipkart Sucks these days. Since last 1 year I was affiliating Flipkart products. Sometimes they don’t even pay for legit sales. Amazon was really a great option to choose and I did the same. I found Amazon Affiliate Better then Flipkart.
I agree with your perspective. Thank you for the comment. ๐
I used Amazon Affiliate Network it’s working great. thanks for this useful post.
