And if dropshipping is new to you too, the idea is simple: you run an online store, you list products that actually ship from AliExpress, and you set your own price on top.
When someone orders from you, you place that same order on AliExpress and have it shipped straight to your customer. Your profit is the difference.

How To Start With the AliDropship Affiliate Program?
One thing has changed since I wrote earlier. In 2018, AliDropship approved affiliates instantly. Now, applications are reviewed and usually approved within 3–4 business days. Still fast, just not instant anymore.
Once you’re in, you’ll have access to promotional materials and your affiliate link so you can create tracking links and start promoting AliDropship.
You don’t necessarily need a website or a blog to join. AliDropship also accepts other promotional channels, but your application needs an active and relevant website or another channel you plan to use for promotion.

Here’s the part that’s genuinely new since 2018: AliDropship no longer accepts PPC advertisers or coupon and deal site owners into the program. If your whole plan was to run paid search ads and route the traffic through your affiliate link, that door is closed now.
And commission tracking depends on your link actually being used at checkout. If someone starts browsing on their phone and finishes the purchase on their laptop without your link carrying over, that sale won’t get credited to you.
How Can Affiliates Promote AliDropship?
There are plenty of options available. Banners and links on your website or blog, dedicated blog posts, email newsletters, YouTube videos, and social media content all work.

Now here’s the correction I really need to flag. Back in 2018, I told readers hosting was commissionable too. It isn’t anymore. AliDropship’s program excludes commissions on hosting, setup and support, server configuration, social media and email marketing setup, Facebook and Instagram ads, store reviews, marketing bundles, and niche research.
So if your content strategy was built around promoting AliDropship’s hosting specifically, that angle no longer pays. Stick to the plugin, the turnkey stores, and the other eligible products instead.

Payment mechanics have shifted a bit too, so here’s how it actually works now.
AliDropship approves your commission 30 days after the calendar month your referral’s purchase happened in, then processes payments within 15 days after that approval. So if someone buys through your link in January, that commission is paid no later than March 15th.
You can get paid via PayPal, Wise, or direct bank transfer now. AliDropship says it uses mostly PayPal, while bank payments are also available. The minimum payout is $50 through PayPal, or $1,000 if you’re going the bank transfer route. Fall short of that, and your balance just rolls into the following month.

One honest caveat. The original version of this article mentioned a fixed 30 day cookie window. I can’t find that specific number stated anywhere on AliDropship’s current page. What they do say is that tracking depends on the customer completing checkout with your link present, ideally without switching devices mid purchase.
