You can place In-feed ads in the beginning of the feed, between the content of the feed and ending of the feed. The Native in-feed ads are highly optimized and  responsive. Matched Content :

The Matched content tool shows ads according to the content of your pages. This format was launched in 2015. Then the matched content tool shows the health and fitness recommendations.

Generally the matched content ads are placed below the articles. These ads comprises of both your articles as well as similar content recommendations from other sources. But, Google relaxes their rules coming to Matched Content. If you have sponsored content on your website, then you can ask Google to show them in Matched Content.

AdSense Native ads works well for content centric websites having high traffic. Write compelling and informative content for real visitors.
